Community Leaders in Charlotte, NC

CBA was thrilled to have five community leaders travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend the Community Leadership Institute (CLI) from October 27-29.

CLI is offered by NeighborWorks America as part of their community building work. Resident leaders come from around the country come together to find strategies and solutions to shared problems. The three-day training event aims to strengthen the voices and skills of community, resident and volunteer leaders. 

NeighborWorks also provides a $4,000 grant to each CLI group. CBA's CLI team will take their lessons learned and create community building programs with single parents in mind.
