We are still taking applications for our Empower leadership training workshops. Apply to join the 2020 Empower program.

Empower: Building Leaders, Strengthening Communities is open to all community activists and leaders, or potential leaders, who are committed to making Lowell a better place to live in, for themselves, their families, and their neighbors. The program is offered by Lowell Alliance and Coalition for a Better Acre.

Empower workshops will take place Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm, starting on March 26 and ending on May 21.

Ideally, participants should plan to attend all 9 workshops. We also ask all participants be willing to take part in a small-scale short term community project chosen by your cohort after the 9-weeks are over.
