Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA) is opening a hub for community resources and workforce opportunities with a new walk-in center located in a street-level storefront at 450 Merrimack Street in Lowell. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 4 p.m.
The walk-in center’s main objective is to serve non-English speakers, immigrants, and people of low-income. CBA intends to connect community members with resources and services to support economic self-sufficiency through our workforce training, translations, civic engagement, health-oriented programs, and a food pantry. The walk-in center will be staffed by bi-lingual CBA program staff and volunteers.
