CBA Awarded Youth Development Service Members
CBA is looking forward to the summer months because…
Three Commonwealth Corps service members will join our team in August 2020 to support CBA’s mission in serving in our youth. Thanks to the Massachusetts Service Alliance program (MSA), one service member will coordinate our existing YES afterschool program, another will coordinate the first year of our Teen YES program, and the third will serve the Youth Development department as Outreach Coordinator.
Our current Commonwealth Corps member, Mitchy, has brought enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for learning to CBA’s afterschool program. As our office has pivoted to direct support of essential needs, Mitchy has consistently demonstrated a commitment to service as an integral part of our food distribution team.
Those interested in becoming a 2020-2021 Commonwealth Corps member can view the service descriptions here, including stipend and benefit information. Massachusetts residents over 18 may apply. Finalists will undergo a background check.
